Spring Projects

I'm ready for spring weather!  Here are some projects I 've been working on with the Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper

SPRING Banner & Treat Gifts

I embossed the edges of the Scalloped Circle (punch) with a mixture of Iridescent Ice & Clear Embossing Powders for a little extra shimmer.  The other punches I used were the 1-3/8" and 1-1/4" circle punches and Eyelet Border punch.
I added the Beyond the Garden DSP to On Board Sheets and cut the butterflies with the Big Shot Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die.  The butterfly wings are stamped with the coordinating Fabulous Florets stamp set in VersaMark ink.  The Lovely Letters Alphabet stamp set added for an elegant look to my banner.
The ribbons are 3/8" Taffeta in Daffodil Delight and Whisper White, and
5/8" Satin in Daffodil Delight.

I just love how Stampin' Up! color coordinate so easily!

I used these Pirouline chocolate wafer tins to wrap the Beyond the Garden DSP around.

The flower toppers were made by punching 6 Scallop Circles of card stock in the coordinating DSP colors (Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi, Melon Mambo) and running them through the Crimper several times (like 10-12 times) and crumpling them up, flatting back out and inserting a Flower Brad (which also coordinate!) with the Paper-Piercing Tool.

For the ribbon, used the brand new Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon (available April 1!), Everyday Enchantment Ribbon (hurry! only available with Sale-A-Bration, which ends March 31st!), and Melon Mambo 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon.

I also made some card sets...

After cutting out the Whisper White Top Note die cut and embossing one edge with the Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with the Big Shot, I stamped the image with the Fabulous Florets stamp set and embossed the flower with Melon Mambo EP, cut it out and adhered it with Dimensionals.  I also cut along the right side of the embossed image on the Top Note to show off more of the pretty Beyond the Garden DSP.
Card Stock: Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Beyond the Garden DSP, Whisper White
Stamp Set: Fabulous Florets
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Melon Mambo, VersaMark
Accessories: Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Top Note Die, Flower Garden TIEF, Heal Tool, Melon Mambo Embossing Powder, Paper Snips,
Regal Rose 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Subtles Buttons, White Baker's Twine

Card Stock: Peach Parfait, Pacific Point, Beyond the Garden DSP, Whisper White
Stamp Set: Fabulous Florets
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo, VersaMark
Accessories: Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Heat Tool, Melon Mambo & Tangerine Tango Embossing Powders, Paper Snips, Peach Parfait 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensions

To get the two toned flower, I used a small spoon to add embossing powder to the center of the flower and then added a different color to the edges of the flower

Card Stock: Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Beyond the Garden DSP
Stamp Set: Fabulous Florets
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Tangerine Tango, VersaMark
Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, White Embossing Powder, Paper Snips, Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Basic Pearls

Card Stock: Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Beyond the Garden DSP, Whisper White, Glossy White (for stamping/embossing the flowers and leaves)
Stamp Set: Fabulous Florets
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, VersaMark
Accessories: Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Scallop Circle #2 Bigz Die, 3" Circle Originals Die, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, Tangerine  Tango & Wild Wasabi Embossing Powders, Blenders Pends, Paper Snips, Daffodil Delight 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals

I heat embossed the flowers and leaves on glossy white card stock and then used the blender pens to color with Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi inks.

Card Stock: Pacific Point, Whisper White, Beyond the Garden DSP
Stamp Set: Fabulous Florets
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point
Accessories: Big Shot Die-Cutting machine, Finial Press Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Paper Snips, Whisper White 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals

Ink: Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point
Accessories: Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Heat Tool, Embossing  Buddy, White Embossing Powder, Paper Snips, Stampin' Dimensionals, Basic Pearls

I also made a couple of gift boxes for the six cards & envelopes...

Happy Anniversary

Happy 2nd Anniversary to my dad and his wife, Nancy!  I had a great time putting this card together for them...

I started off with a piece of Very Vanilla textured card stock and cut one end with the Adorning Accents Scalloped Edgelit Die and embossed the scalloped edge with the coordinating Adorning Accents Embossing Folder (I *love* these two new Big Shot products from the Occasions Mini!).  Then I cut the card down to a 5x5 folding card.

I used the Always Elegant stamp set and Early Espresso ink to stamp this image on a piece of smooth card stock and used the *new* Simply Scored Diagonal Scoring Plate to score a design (hopefully you can see it in the picture).

The sentiment is made by embossing Pear Pizzazz card stock with the Oval Designer Frames Embossing Folder and running it through the Big Shot again with a die from the Labels Collection Framelit Die.  The stamped image is from the Occasions Alphabet set (which includes a phrase for all 26 letters), and punched out with the Extra-Large Oval Punch.  Basic Pearls added a delicate touch.

Seam Binding Ribbon in Pear Pizzazz and Crumb Cake wrap the card and I embellished with an Antique Brad, Trinket Heart and tag.
I hope they enjoy their day!

SAB Home Sweet Home Decor Elements

Here's another framed art piece I made using the Sale-A-Bration Home Sweet Home Decor Elements

What better way to make your house and home!  This easy-to-adhere vinyl lettering is temporary or permanent, 1 piece, measures 15-1/4 x 5-1/8, and comes in Chocolate (shown here), Black, White & Crumb Cake.

I adhered the vinyl directly to the glass of my 12x24 frame and added two sheets of Mocha Morning Designer Series Paper underneath the glass (that way I can switch out the paper as it suits my fancy!)

For the rosette/bow, I used Basic Black & Chocolate Chip 5/8" Satin Ribbon and Crumb Cake 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon.  I then cut a 1 x 11-3/4" strip of striped Mocha Morning DSP and used the Simply Scored tool to score every 1/4" and accordion folded this strip/rosette.  Finally, I cut the butterflies from the Beautiful Wings embosslit from Vellum card stock and Morning Mocha DSP and embellished with Basic Rhinestones.
