Happy Halloween

Our girls decorated pumpkins over the weekend.  They opted for Sharpes & glitter instead of carving (yeah for me)!  And me...I just take pictures and clean up!

The girls LOVED being able to decorate any way they wanted without
mom making any "suggestions"  *Ü*

Christmas Advent Calendars

I have always wanted to make an Advent calendar and didn't know where to start.  This year I am amazed that Stampin' Up! came up with the products in the Holiday Mini to make one.  The stamp set 25 & Counting and the new Peekaboo Frame Bigz Die are the perfect and easy way to create one.  I purchased a couple of different 12x12 frames at the "M" store.  I'm using textured Very Vanilla 12 x 12 card stock for the matte.

Here's how they turned out:

I loved how easy it was to create the opening frames, the Peekaboo Frames Bigz L die (Shelli's exclusive Stampin' Up! Sizzix Die) was perfect for that.  And now until the end of October (gasp! just 2 more days!), Stampin' Up has offered the Big shot for FREE or $100 of FREE product, when you join my family of demonstrators in October.  Learn how to get this sweet deal HERE
Stampin' Supplies used to make my Advent Calendar:
  • Stamps: 25 & Counting
  • Paper & Ink: Holly Berry Bouquet Speciality Designer Series Paper, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Very Vanilla, Wild Wasabi card stocks
  • Punches: 1" Square, Scallop Border, 1/2" Circle, 3/4" Circle, 1" Circle, 1-1/4" Circle, 1-3/8" Circle, 1-1/4" Square
  • Embellishments: Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Linen Thread, Rhinestone Jewels, Jingle Bells, Dazzling Diamonds
  • Tools: Big Shot, Peekaboo Frames die cut, Snowburst TIEF, Polka Dot TIEF, Standard Cutting Pads, Multipurpose Platform
