Papillon Potpourri Butterfly Projects

I've been busy creating with Stampin' Up!'s Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set and coordinating Elegant Butterfly Punch ~ Here are a couple of the projects (more to come so check back!)

Gratitude Framed Art Piece & Card

I was asked by a friend of mine to put together a framed art piece for his mom - here's what I came up with

I started with a 13 x 13 walnut (Early Espresso) frame I found
and matted it with four 4 x 6 openings.

I wanted to have both a masculine feel, yet soft and flowery for Bill's mom.  The Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper (DSP) fit the bill (so to speak)!

Here I used the Forever with You stamp set, which coordinates with the Comfort Cafe DSP, and pretty much just CASE'd the book cover sample in the catalog for the Product Suite.

It's the new 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch!

I used the Frameable Gratitude Designer Template download for My Digital Studio (MDS)
to make this frame.
The embellishment on the 3/8" Taffeta Soft Suede Ribbon is also sneak peek from the upcoming Holiday Catalog called Designer Ribbon Slides.

This is the matching card I made for him to include with his gift.
I incorporated many of the same elements from the frame, like the Naturals Designer Buttons and Comfort Cafe DSP.  The new Layered Labels stamp set and coordinating Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies, Strips Embossing Folder and Summer Starfruit card stock were also used.

And of course I had to make a matching gift bag!
There's also another Holiday Catalog sneak peek here - 3-1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon, which is extra-soft tulle.  It will be available beginning August 1st in three colors - Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso (which I used to make this darling accent bow).
