Big Top Fun Framed Art & Card

I've been meaning to get around to making this project *Ü*

I've been trying to find these "artist print trays" & my amazing husband found them when he was traveling back east at a craft store we don't have around here!

This framed art piece was so simple to make; I just took a sheet of Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper (DSP) and cut to fit the tray (4x6 sections). 

To create the "sun" paper rosette, I punched 3 scallop circles from the DSP with the 2-3/8" scallop circle punch, scored the circles at the scallops and adhered one circle to another by overlapping the folding pieces.  I used a white jumbo brad to cover the center of the rosette, although I think a brights designer button would have looked great too.

I cut out images from a sheet of the DSP and layered it on to the coordinating image with dimensions (some pieces are double- & triple-stacked) to create even more depth. 
I also popped up some of these on the ledge.

Glimmer brads were added above the clown and to the dumbbells.

After I finished the frame, I went back and added various ribbons to cover
the handle - much better!

I trimmed an SU! cello bag, inserted the card, and attached it to the bag
with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Change is Good: Stampin' Up! Retiring Stamps & Accessories Lists

Many of you are excited but a bit overwhelmed by the size of the STAMPIN' UP! RETIRING ACCESSORIES LIST. OH BOY! Read on for details of what I have gathered from Stampin' Up! I'm hoping this will lessen the confusion.

Please keep in mind that the retiring products are ONLY AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. Many items are discounted! That means items will sell out so PLEASE DON'T WAIT!

STAMPIN' UP! RETIRING ACCESSORIES LIST BY CATALOG PAGE NUMBER

STAMPIN' UP! RETIRING DEFINITIVELY DECORATIVE LIST

When you look at the retired accessories list, you'll note that all of our Stampin' Pads are listed. This is for two reasons:

(1) Craft Stampin' Pads will now only be available in black and white; and

(2) we are introducing a new Firm Foam pad in our Classic Stampin' Pads with the 2012-2013 annual catalog.

The Firm Foam pads offer better ink coverage and, in turn, better stamped images. They will be available for customer order on June 1.

In addition, please note the following changes in the new catalog, which explain some of the products appearing on the retired list:

• Only select Stampin' Write Markers will be available individually (Stampin' Write Markers in color collections will continue to be offered)
• 12" x 12" Textured Card Stock will no longer be offered.
• 12" x 12" Smooth Card Stock will only be available in select individual colors and color collections.
• Any item with an asterisk next to it is being reconfigured. An example of this could be repackaging, as in the example above of the markers.
• Craft Ink Pads (other than black or white per above) and Craft Refills will no longer be offered.
• Classic Ink Refills (other than the retiring 2010-2012 In Colors) will still be available.
• Stampin' Spots are being discontinued. Stampin' Up! may possibly reconfigure & sell some of the Classic Ink Spots.
• Other than the retiring 2010-2012 In Colors, the Stampin' Up! colors are NOT retiring.

A FINAL NOTE: I have always been one to embrace change and am very optimistic that the new catalog will fulfill my stamping dreams of exciting new stamps, creative tools, gorgeous paper and splashy embellishments!

This pretty heart box has a special pair of earrings inside. Not only is this a great gift for Mother's Day ~ it's also a great gift to celebrate a special Mom!

The butterflies are made with the Mixed Bunch stamp set, stamped in Craft White Ink and punched out with the Blossom punch.  Leaves are Pear Pizzazz punched with the Bird Builder punch.
And the flowers are Perfect Plum, sponged and punched with the Boho Blossom punch. 

Earrings are made with Filigree & Circle Fire Brads ~ so fun!

Another version made in Baja Breeze & Marina Mist ~ Moms love blue too!

Magic Bunnies

Bunny Magic Card - Colored Bunny Revealed!
So FUN!

I stamped the bunny in the egg from the Everybunny stamp set in Jet Black Staz On ink and colored it in with Stampin' Write Markers on watercolor paper with blender pens.  I then stamped another bunny in egg image on a piece of window sheet with StazOn using my Stamp-a-ma-jig (yes! that's really the name of the tool that is a stamp positioner when you need precise stamp alignment every time!)

I added the image from the Every Egg Standard Wheel on watercolor paper.

Watering Can Flowers

I found these stinkin' cute watering cans and I thought...hmmmm...I know exactly what I want to make with THESE!  So, here they are...

Isn't this just FUN?

Here's a close up of the flowers...

The flowers are made using the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stacks in the Brights Collection (Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry) and Subtles Collection (Wild Wasabi, Bashful Blue). I stamped the flowers in black StazOn with the Mixed Bunch stamp set and punched them out with the matching punch.  Quick & easy!  I then adhered the two of each flower to floral picks as stems.  Sticky Strip holds on the Easter colored Rolo candies to each blossom.  Fun, huh?

All that was left to do was to add some Easter basket grass to the watering can and stick the flowers in and arrange them.
